Hours: 45 Hours P/W Basic Salary (Excluding Weekend Rota Paid T&Q).

Working Times: 08.00AM / 18.00PM.

Days: Monday to Friday (+ minimum of 1 Saturday & Sunday per month on alternate weekends).

Our ideal candidate MUST HAVE a full UK driving license, a full ACS certificate (boilers, cookers, and fires) and that is also willing to do some plumbing during the quieter periods. We are recruiting across all London postcodes and offering a very appealing salary. £37,000 to £50,000.

The individual should be flexible in our busier periods and have a passion for the industry, also have a minimum of 2 years’ experience working alone. The candidate should also work well in a team and have a can-do attitude. The location of work can be a variety of areas as we do cover inside the M25 (South).

Clean Full UK Driving License (Maximum 3 Points will be allowed),

Servicing & Repairing Boilers,
Fault Finding New & Old Heating Systems,
Complying & Understanding all Gas Safety Regulations,

1st & 2nd Fix installation for kitchens, bathrooms, and boilers/heating systems,
Power flushing.

A Lings Group Limited is a Home Emergency Business that deploys skilled trades to the private sector in South London with a history of success and growth within the previous 5 years. We are looking for new Customer Service Representative's to join our team and help us manage customers efficiently and accurately so we can provide the best service they have received from anyone.

The office is based in Hackbridge and Hackbridge Station is a 10 minute walk, all main line trains go direct to London.

This position requires an enthusiastic individual who thrives under pressure and can show ability to communicate with customers professionally.

You will be able to think fast, use initiative, have good time management skills and have an excellent eye for detail. You will be a part of busy team in a fast-paced environment and accuracy must be one of your strengths.

Previous experience in similar role is essential however we will train individuals that show an excellent attitude towards wanting to succeed in their field. A level of flexibility will be required, particularly in the winter months.

Job Description

Answer telephone calls from customers and place bookings on the system.
Compile Reports for customers & action same day / next day.
Assist & advise customers on with their home emergencies ensuring that you book the correct service for their needs.
Deal with customer email enquiries.
Must be IT literate.

I would like to highlight the exceptional service provided by Mycheal in stark contrast to the disappointing experience I had with the initial engineer dispatched by LV emergency insurance. The situation was dire, as a young family with children was left without hot water or heating due to a faulty boiler that kept shutting off.The first engineer's assessment was perplexing, suggesting that the issue could be related to dripping bath mixer taps in addition to needing parts. Despite being promised a quick resolution within three days, the family endured a cold house and no hot water for two weeks. The excuses given for the delays were unsatisfactory, leading to frustration and multiple complaints to the emergency line.Subsequent visits from the first engineer only exacerbated the situation, with unnecessary part replacements and misguided diagnoses. The insistence on a power flush, not covered by the emergency policy, further prolonged the ordeal. Seeking a second opinion, an independent engineer confirmed that a power flush was unnecessary, saving substantial costs.Mycheal's arrival brought a much-needed ray of hope. His professionalism, empathy, and expertise were evident as he quickly identified the actual problem—a faulty pressure sensor—and promptly resolved it. Mike visited us today to repair our boiler. He sorted the issues out very efficiently, he also found an issue with CO readings which we weren't aware of and sorted that too during the visit. Five stars all the way, if I could give six stars I would. Mike has only just left our place but everything is working as it should be . The boiler was leaking , there was no hot water or heating for a disabled gentleman with minus 5 degrees temperature at night. He was pleasant, cheerful , ultra professional and took the time to explain everything he was doing. It was a real pleasure to meet him and would recommend this company to anyone. Aaron Lings a man of his word. His company were hired as contractors by Homeserve. I had a plumbing issue, contacted Homeserve and A Lings came out to do the work, unfortunately there was an issue with the work and a leak started from the water tanks in the attic which leaked into one of our bedrooms. I contacted Homeserve, the leak was fixed and I complained about the damage. Homeserve declined it was their fault and closed the case, I was taking legal action against Homeserve and A Ling group. Aaron Ling contacted me directly and personally came home and said he will have the damage repaired. Which he did, his builder finished the work to a great statndard. Very Happy that he went out his way to get the work done personally. Very Happy with his professionalism, but very disappointed with Homeserve.

My boiler was condemned and shut down by someone I found on the corgi register. I then remembered I was covered under my Home Insurance, So I called them, and they sent me Mike from A.Lings. He took one look and said there is nothing wrong with my boiler, it just needed a bit of WD-40 on the gas valve and within minutes my boiler was fully tested and back up and running. What an absolute godsend, very honest and professional, saved me thousands. This is now my go-to company.

Trevor arrived on the dot at 8.00 am this morning after calling first to inform us of his arrival time. He tackled the horrible job of unblocking our drains, with positivity and professionalism and much to our relief, sorted what we had been told by a previous contractor, could be a problematic issue. He also made a couple of recommendations to stop the problem occurring again. Hopefully it won’t, but we were very satisfied with the service provided and are happy to recommend Trevor himself.
